Load Hawk Dumpster Rental runs out of a yard at 660 S Glenstone Ave in Springfield. The idea is simple: make waste removal here fast, affordable and hassle-free, without the inflated prices, missed deliveries and call centers of the national chains. So we keep it plain. One number that covers the job. A delivery window we hit. A local person on the phone.
Springfield is a city of very different jobs — close to 170,000 people, officially recognized as the birthplace of Route 66, which once followed Glenstone across town. Homeowners in Rountree, Phelps Grove, Brentwood and Southern Hills call about cleanouts, remodels and roofs; property managers turn over units; contractors build downtown, along Commercial Street and out in the industrial parks. Knowing which of those a call is before the truck leaves the yard is most of the job — along with knowing that Springfield has no City trash pickup at all, that every hauler working in the city needs a City licence, and that Missouri will not let yard waste or major appliances into a landfill.
Whatever you are clearing — a garage or a whole house, a job site, a yard full of storm limbs or a rental you want emptied by a crew — the container exists for it. Call (417) 720-8150 and describe it in a sentence.

How it works
Most bookings take a few minutes.
One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the container needs to sit, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us. No long forms, no guesswork.
You get one number covering delivery, the standard rental of up to 7 days, pickup, disposal and a stated weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site exactly where you asked, with boards under it if you want them. Often same-day or next-day, depending on availability.
Keep it level with the top edge and keep the banned items out — tires, car batteries, used oil, paint, chemicals, propane tanks, and fridges, washers, water heaters and other major appliances. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call or text and we are on it.
The load goes to a permitted landfill or processing facility, with metal, concrete and clean green waste recycled whenever possible. You get your driveway back the way you left it.
Local knowledge
There is a difference between covering an area and knowing it. We know which drives in town the truck fits down, which towns license the haulers working inside their limits, which ones keep containers off the street, and that Battlefield wants a free City permit for any project dumpster in public view.
Our service area page lists every town we cover, grouped by area, and each has its own page covering access, housing and what that town's own code says about containers in the street and who may haul.

Why us
The phone rings in Springfield. Whoever picks up knows the difference between a narrow drive in town and an acreage out past Willard, and how far it is to Bolivar.
Delivery, the rental, pickup, disposal and a stated weight allowance in a single number. No hidden fuel or pickup fees. If your load looks like it will go over, we say so before the truck leaves the yard.
Call before noon and most Springfield, Republic, Battlefield and Nixa orders have a good chance of going out the same day, depending on availability. The towns 21 to 32 miles out are more often next day — said honestly, in advance.
Boards under the dumpster when you ask, and the driver tells you before delivery if a tight drive, low power lines or soft ground needs a different approach.
Weight fills a container long before volume does. If a 10 yard loaded level is the honest answer for your broken-up concrete, that is what we will quote you.
Storms drop limbs and fences across whole neighborhoods. We queue honestly after a storm and tell you where you are in the line.

The yard is at 660 S Glenstone Ave, Springfield 65802. The number on this page reaches it, not an answering service in another state.
Fifteen towns across Greene, Christian, Webster and Polk counties. We tell you honestly which runs are same-day and which are next-day before you book.
Missouri keeps yard waste, major appliances, used oil, lead-acid batteries and whole tires out of its landfills. We keep those out of the box, recycle what the facilities take, and say so.

Sizing
Quick answer: when in doubt, a 20 yard. How to pick between 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yards by volume, weight and driveway space — and why the weekly cart will not take a remodel.

No Springfield permit found for a driveway roll-off; the street is a call to Traffic Operations. Across the 15 places we serve the rules run from a free Battlefield dumpster permit to hauler licences with bonds and insurance. Every town, from its own code.

Springfield dumpster rentals typically run $295–$695, with no hidden fuel or pickup fees. What is inside that number, what moves it, the public landfill rate behind it, and the town fees that sit outside it.

We run roll-off containers out of the Glenstone Avenue yard to every town below. Springfield and the closest towns are often same-day; the edges of the area are more often next-day. Most of the towns we checked license or permit the haulers that work inside their limits, and a few keep containers off the street — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
Answers
Most rentals run $295 to $695, with no hidden fuel or pickup fees. The price depends on the size, the type of debris, how long you keep it, and the location and any permit it needs. You get one flat rate on the phone that includes delivery, pickup, the standard rental of up to 7 days and the included weight — 2 to 3 tons on a 10 yard, up to 5 to 6 on a 40. Going over the weight can mean an overage, and extra days are a small daily rate. Call (417) 720-8150 for a firm number for your address.
Often the same day or next day, depending on availability — call before noon for the best chance of same-day. Towns 21 to 32 road miles out, like Clever, Ash Grove, Sparta, Marshfield and Bolivar, are more often next day. We tell you which when you call.
We found no City of Springfield permit for a roll-off on your own driveway or private property. The street or sidewalk is different: City Code Sec. 98-1 bans obstructions in the public way that hinder traffic or block drainage, and work in the right-of-way that affects traffic needs a Public Works temporary traffic control permit. We found no dumpster-specific permit or published fee, so call Traffic Operations at 417-864-1980 first. Other towns differ — Battlefield wants a free City permit for any project dumpster in public view, and Ash Grove's code bans obstructing a street. Check your HOA too. We flag it when you book.
Paint, solvents and chemicals, used oil and other liquids, car batteries, tires, propane tanks and fuel, medical waste and asbestos. Fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, water heaters, stoves, A/C units and other major appliances have been banned from Missouri landfills since 1991, and yard waste since 1992 — keep it in its own clean green load. Household chemicals go to the City's Household Chemical Collection Center at 1226 W Nichols St instead, by appointment at 417-864-2000.
A loaded roll-off is heavy. Ask for boards under the dumpster and the driver puts them down. Tell us before delivery if a surface worries you — fresh concrete, pavers, a cracked slab or soft ground.
Volume and weight are two separate limits, and the material decides which runs out first. A bathroom or a garage is a 10, a kitchen, a deck or a 2,000 sq ft roof a 15, a whole-house cleanout or multi-room remodel a 20, a full renovation or a new build a 30, and broken-up concrete or dirt a 10 loaded level. The size guide covers it; the phone call confirms it.
Yes — fourteen more towns across Greene, Christian, Webster and Polk counties. Most of the towns we checked license or permit haulers (we hold the licences they require), and a few keep containers off the street; each town page quotes what that town's code says, and we tell you straight on the phone.
Early. Same-day depends on availability, and the days right after a big storm are the busiest. For a planned remodel or cleanout, a few days' notice gets you the size you want on the day you want it.
