Roll-Off Dumpster Rental across the Springfield metro and the 417

Every job we do is a roll-off: an open-top container that rolls off the back of a specially equipped truck onto your driveway, lot or job site, sits there while you fill it, and goes back on the truck when you call. This page is about the box itself — the sizes, the weight, the space it needs and the price — for anyone who just wants to know what they are renting.

The yard is at 660 S Glenstone Ave in Springfield, in the 65802 ZIP, about 2.5 to 3 road miles from City Hall on Boonville Avenue. Republic, Battlefield, Strafford and Nixa are about 10 to 13 road miles away; Willard, Rogersville, Ozark and Fair Grove 15 to 17; Billings and Clever about 21; Ash Grove, Sparta and Marshfield 24 to 25; and Bolivar about 32.

  • Same-day or next-day delivery when you call before noon, depending on availability

How a roll-off works

The truck backs in and rolls the container off onto the spot you agreed. You load it over the open top — or through the rear door where the box has one — keeping everything level with or below the top rim, because overfilled dumpsters cannot be safely transported. Spread the load evenly. Call or text when it is done; the truck comes back, loads it and hauls it.

Space is the thing to check before you book: a flat, solid surface such as a driveway or pavement, room for a container up to about 22 feet long and 8 feet wide plus the truck, and nothing low overhead. Power lines, low tree branches, parked cars and bins are the usual obstacles. Keep it off the sidewalk and clear of storm drains.

What the flat price includes

Delivery, the standard rental of up to 7 days, pickup and disposal up to the stated weight. Most rentals in Springfield run $295 to $695, depending on the size, the type of debris, how long you keep it, and the location and any permit it needs. Two things add to it: going over the included weight, and keeping the container past the rental window, at a small daily rate. Banned items have to come out of the load before it can go. We explain all of it on the first call. No hidden fuel or pickup fees. The price we quote is the price you pay.

Roll-off rental across the 417 — where the loads go

Missouri sorts debris by what it is. DNR says non-hazardous demolition debris must go to a permitted solid waste landfill or processing facility, and that clean fill — soil, rock, sand, gravel, concrete, asphalt, cinderblock and brick — can be used as fill on site with the property owner's permission. The City of Springfield's Noble Hill Sanitary Landfill, at 3545 W Farm Road 34 near Willard, takes municipal waste, construction and demolition waste and clean fill at $43.85 a ton with a $20 minimum, Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will not take yard waste, major appliances, whole tires, lead-acid batteries, waste oil, liquids or asbestos. Clean yard waste goes to the City's Yardwaste Recycling Center at 3790 S Farm Road 119 in Brookline instead. We price it flat either way.

Answers

Roll-Off Dumpster Rental — your questions answered

What is the difference between a roll-off and a regular dumpster?

A regular business dumpster is a front-load bin emptied on a route for ongoing commercial collection. A roll-off is a temporary open-top container delivered for a job and hauled away when you are done.

How full can I load it?

Level with or below the top rim, no higher. Overfilled dumpsters cannot be safely transported, so even loading matters. If you need more room, call and we swap it for an empty one.

Do I have to be home for delivery?

No. Agree the spot with us in advance, keep it clear of cars and obstacles, mark it if you like, and the driver places it exactly where you asked. Same for pickup — just keep the path clear.

How quickly can you deliver?

Often same-day or next-day, depending on availability. Call before noon for the best chance of same-day.

Can I not just haul it to a disposal site myself?

You can. The City's Noble Hill landfill near Willard charges $43.85 a ton with a $20 minimum and is open weekdays 7 to 4 and Saturdays 7 to 3; loads have to be covered and secured. The Yardwaste Recycling Center in Brookline takes grass, leaves and garden vegetation free and brush for $11 to $38 a load. A roll-off is the option when the job is more than a couple of trailer loads, or you would rather not make the trips.

What does a roll-off cost in Springfield?

Most rentals run $295 to $695, with no hidden fuel or pickup fees. You get a flat rate on the phone that covers delivery, pickup, the standard rental period and the included weight for the size you pick — 2 to 3 tons on a 10 yard up to 5 to 6 on a 40. Call (417) 720-8150 with the address and what is going in and you will have a number before you hang up.
